There are two components to Physical Science: Physics and Chemistry.
Physics is that branch of science that deals with the nature of matter and energy and the relationship between them. This definition of physics covers the entire universe. To narrow things down a bit: “If it’s measureable, it belongs to physics”. This includes the relationships between measureable quantities such as: distance – time relationship to give speed, speed – time relationship to give acceleration etc.
Chemistry is that branch of science that deals with the composition, structure, properties and reactions of matter (elements and compounds).
